I was asked to collaborate on an exciting new funding project with the Univeristy of Liverpool, which showcases the outputs from thier recent mapping project exploring the work of landscape architect Mary Mitchell and the sculptor John Bridgeman across Birmingham.

To accompany the main architectural guide, I was asked to design and illustrate the family guide, inviting them to explore the amazing parks and play spaces that were created around Birmingham.

Working with Joy Burgess, we knew we wanted this to be an accessible piece of print, that felt like an investigative factfile, containing important information about this innovative play sculptures. Using the amazing archive of photos, I felt it made sense to use the collaged element of these, and illustrate around them.
